We have a variety of Experiences from Mellow to Wet and Wild
For new sailors and families sailing for the first time we recommend our most mellow experience which is a private group charter on our Hobie 33 pictured above top. If you want to solidify the basics and become proficient, sign up for our week long family or adult course on our Melges 24 Raceboat where we'll take you racing on Wednesday night! Once you have the basics you are ready to try Laser Sailing/Racing for Youth and Adults. The Laser is physical, very fast and tippy! This is where saling gets really exciting! Bring your wetsuit because you'll be swimming!

Instructor Spotlight - Nick Pullen
Introduced to sailing by his Grandfather at the age of 5, Nick went on to become a member of Canada's National Sailing Team in the Laser Class.
For decades he's travelled world wide racing Lasers and Melges 24s. He's a former Canadian National Champion, competed in 12 world championships, and has logged over 4 thousand miles of blue water ocean sailing.
Nick has coached with International Sailing Academy in Puerta Vallarta drawing from their methodologies. He's also a Licensed Coast Guard Captain and US Sailing Level 1 Instructor.

Instructor Spotlight - Tasha Hacker
Tasha Hacker is a USCG certified Captain and US Sailing certified basic keelboat instructor.
Before moving to Lake Tahoe, she spent 5 years sailing around the world on her own boat. She also competed on the winning boat, Henri Lloyd, in the 2013-14 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Prior to the pandemic, Tasha was teaching women to sail a 41-foot racing yacht in the Bahamas and the Caribbean on week-long journeys.
Tasha now enjoys teaching day sailors of all levels on beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Join our Laser Race Team!
We're looking for both boys and girls age 12-21 who LOVE sailing and sailboat racing. This is a high performance race team training 4 weeks in the summer with Nick Pullen and traveling to regattas and training events throughout the year on the west coast.
Joining the team is a big commitment and is for kids who really love the sport and want to become champions. The good news is that the boats are provided and there is funding for travel and coaching.
The investment required to participate is similar to downhill ski racing. Athletes are required to obtain sailing specific clothing for protection from the elements and pay for 4 weeks of coaching.
